Introduction to Ukulele

• Weekly 60 minute group lesson

• Available to students ages 7 and up

• This class will begin with basic ukulele instruction with emphasis on reading music and developing technique

• Students will develop a proficiency at singing and playing simple songs and as they master their instrument and more complex material

• The class will teach students to listen to both themselves and other musicians with the goal of playing in an ensemble

• Twice a year students have an opportunity to perform material they have chosen and mastered in a recital
