This fall, Inspire Academy of Music sent out a parent survey to help us learn what we are doing right and what families love about Inspire. Enjoy reading our results!
Why did you want your child to take music lessons?
Parents had a variety of excellent reasons for enrolling their children in music lessons. Here are the most popular ones:

Why did you choose Inspire?
When looking for a music school, parents chose Inspire because of friends’ recommendations, the quality of the teachers, convenience, small group classes, and online reviews. Although many parents did online research in choosing a music studio, it was often the “Meet and Greet” with the teacher or our placement director that made them decide Inspire was the best fit for them.

What do you like best about Inspire?
When parents were asked what they liked best about Inspire (after their children were enrolled), they overwhelmingly cited the teachers!
Parents appreciate that our teachers are friendly, patient, and care about each individual student. While some parents feared their child might be turned off by a harsh teacher, most found that their children love their teachers and have formed a close bond with them. This important relationship helps keep the student motivated and practicing!
Many parents mentioned that they appreciate the teachers being organized and not wasting time. Well planned curriculums and structured learning were also cited as strong points.
In addition to the teachers, families love our office staff, Marina and Yvette. Families feel welcomed and they appreciate the timely and efficient way their concerns and scheduling needs are addressed.
Many parents recognized the challenges of switching to online learning this year and were thankful that Inspire did so seamlessly. Additionally, this summer’s online recitals were a huge success with families.
Our teachers are special
It is no surprise that our teachers are so well regarded. Each teacher is hand-selected by our director, Tamriko Siprashvili. Tamriko is always searching for teachers who not only have a deep love and understanding of music but are enthusiastic about sharing that love and knowledge with our students. Tamriko mentors each teacher stressing the importance of the teacher-student relationship, the importance of structured learning, and the importance of preparing for and performing in recitals.
Our Inspire parents are our backbone
We know that your support is key to your child’s continuing music education. We understand that no school can be successful without the dedication of the parents. Thank you for making music an important part of your child’s life. We could not do what we do without you. We appreciate your ability to continue lessons online, your embracing of our new parent/student portal and all your constructive feedback. We are especially grateful to all of you who have taken the time to write reviews on Google, Yelp and Facebook.
