Sophie Galley

"Sophie is excited to see and hear the musicians of the future hone their skills in the academy."

Sophie Galley was born into a Scottish family filled with a variety of different talents. Her father plays the accordion and, when he was younger, he performed and won many music competitions. He was also part of a band and frequently played the accordion when Sophie was young. This exposure drove her right into the world of music. She would sing anywhere and everywhere, even when there wasn't any music playing.

Singing became Sophie’s passion and, when she was in middle school, she began to perform in musicals and plays. She is now a senior at Amador Valley High School and has been in many productions. She loves to work with and provide help to as many people as she can.

Now that she is the receptionist on Saturdays at Inspire, Sophie is excited to see and hear the musicians of the future hone their skills in the academy.

Our programs continue to inspire and challenge students to experience the joy of music, develop a lifelong love for the arts, and fully express themselves.
