Tom Auerbach

"I value each student equally and encourage each one to be the best musician they can be!"

Tom has been a professional musician for 15 years. Growing up in Sonoma County, Tom studied guitar and piano privately before attending Musicians Institute in Los Angeles. He has been featured in Guitar Player Magazine, and has completed a series of video lessons for Hal Leonard’s website. Tom’s musical interests are broad, and he teaches and composes in many styles and genres including electric, accoustic, and bass guitar.

Teaching Style and Philosophy

I try to balance theory and technique. Once academic goals have been achieved, expressive qualities will rise to the surface, and music of depth will result. I value each student equally, and encourage them to be the best musicians they can be. I look forward to working with all ages and levels of ability!

Our programs continue to inspire and challenge students to experience the joy of music, develop a lifelong love for the arts, and fully express themselves.
